Hub are not only one of our UK stocklists but also one of our favourite shops to pop into when we visit London. Sharing a similair aesthetic taste to our own as well as a passion for independent craft and design - we just had to introduce you!
Hub was born 1998 and over the years has built up a great following of local customers! They are inspired by creative energy, local eateries and live music and take pride in being part of these local scenes. As well as supporting other brands they also have their own in house fashion brand - Beth Graham'...
'Beth Graham has been a part of the store right from the beginning (over 15 years ago!) and we love the full production cycle. Designing, making, working with manufacturers and then seeing our customers reactions to our product is an amazing process. Over the last few years the Meet the Manufacturer and Textile Forum shows have been invaluable in finding our fabrics and British manufacturers. Beth Graham is now called Allsea but our design ethos remains the same. Simple, wearable, functional pieces with clean silhouettes and a focus on quality fabrication.'
They currently have three shops situated in the London area and have recently just launched a beautiful new website...
'With our new website we hope we can share more of that with a wider audience. We want to show you the amazing designer/makers we work with and the craft and skill that goes into their work. We want to share the stories of the brands we love. We want to showcase our latest finds, offer our style advice and bring the in-store experience online with our Saturday Style series. The Wednesday playlist will feature local musicians sharing the music that's inspiring them and our Friday round up will gather together all the online inspiration we've seen throughout the week. Over time we want to reach out and connect with bloggers in other parts of the world and showcase other local areas that support independent spirit and creativity.'
