We graced the wonderful international trade fair SCOOP with our presence for the second time this year and boy does this event just keep getting better and better. Read on for how the long weekend away in London (working hard!) went for Beaumont Organic …
Having attended for the first time in January it was clear to see from the get go that the suave feel and super edgy interiors of the Saatchi Gallery were yet again theperfect backdrop to house some of the UK’s best fashion brands, for this bi-annual trade fair event.
We were located in the same spot as the last time, gallery 11, where we attended amongst almost the same brands so friendly faces galore, we knew we were in for a very productive and enjoyable few days. The layout of the whole event was extremely pleasing to the eye, mixing fashion stands in with the artwork (which is usually the showcase of the gallery) makes for the perfect backdrop. We were situated in front of a piece by artist Brent Wadden, a wool and yarn artist who creates large woven pieces which resemble geometric paintings. The particular piece that we were in front of was black and cream, it matched our own exhibition perfectly and showed off our clothes with even more POW! We loved it.We met customers from shops that we stock of old and new. It was so busy on the stand at times that all 4 of us who were there to help were busy showing the collection to someone! (and that I just how we like it!). They had a lovely juice bar to keep us all refreshed and more complimentary prosecco than you could shake a stick at.Overall the whole time was very successful and worthwhile. We cant wait for the next one – but there is a little bit of time to go, we wont be back on Saatchi’s turf until next January, when we will be showing off the new SS15 collection (which we are super excited to show you!) Until then we are Manchester bound, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. xx
