Our friends from the Greenwich Tea Company have kindly sent us some of their latest blends for us to test run! A gorgeous box with abundance of tasty blends arrived and we couldn’t wait to try them. See what we thought …
The first for us to brew was the Christmas cake blend . As soon as you open the packet the festive scent hits you – a mix of cinnamon, apple and marzipanny notes were enough to make your mouth water.
We got to brewing with our loose tea strainer.
It took around 3 mins to brew and smelt divine! The packet said you could add milk or drink without, whatever your preference. Here at Beaumont HQ we tend to drink a lot of herbal tea’s so opted for the milk free version.
When it was in the packet the tea had smelt as if it was going to taste very sweet but after brewing to a lovely amber colour the taste was lovely and subtle. Warming with a mulled wine vibe and perfectly sweet, this Christmas tea was really something to be enjoyed. A great non-alcoholic replacement for mulled wine and hot cider, it is perfect to have in stock for the festive party season and would also make a lovely gift!
Alongside the tea’s, we also received what was quite honestly, the MOST delicious chocolate fudge I have ever had! It was creamy, smooth and delicious with a terribly more-ish chocolate flavour.

Thank you to this lovely, fellow independent company for the samples. We thoroughly enjoyed the sampling and could not recommend them more! If you order from them we would love to know what you think and if you loved it as much as we do, leave us some feedback on Facebook and let us know your thoughts. There was no better excuse for a brew until now! Happy Sipping! xx
