Last month, we were so happy to be featured on the gorgeous blog 'The Edited' ran by Erica Davies; a fashion editor, writer and stylist! The Edited features everything from fashion and beauty to kids style and interiors, but last month it took at look at one of our favourite ethical pieces, the Uma Organic Cotton Dress.
A classic t-shirt maxi dress made from the softest organic cotton, Uma is an easy throw on that looks great teamed with trainers and a biker jacket for relaxing around town, or as shown by Erica, with a khaki shirt and gladiator sandals for a weekend in the sun with family. The dress is generous in length and fit and is adaptable and super comfortable to wear.
Here's a snippet of Erica's post featuring the Uma Organic Cotton Maxi Dress:
"My weekends are dictated by the kids social diaries (seriously), so my mantra – that I have just this minute made up, but totally try and stick to when getting dressed – is ‘look pulled together, but comfortable.’ And I have found a dress that ticks every box – dark grey marl, pull-on and so comfy that I might sleep in it too. It’s by Beaumont Organic, a company that’s all about clean lines, contemporary styling and wearable clothes responsibly sourced in the EU and UK. This dark grey maxi dress is honestly one of the softest, warmest, easiest pieces to wear. I’ll be wearing this with flat sandals in the sunshine and with my trainers when I’m travelling or out walking with the kids. Plus it’s got pockets and I am a sucker for pockets in a dress! (Oh – and have I MENTIONED how soft it is? Perhaps once or twice.)"
Due to popular demand, the Uma Organic Cotton Maxi Dress is now sold out in dark grey marl but if you love this look, you can still grab one in black or light grey marl. And even better, it's now in the sale for just £49! Click here to get the look online.
