ANGLOTEX:

Based in Braga, Portugal, Anglotex is a family established and run.
The Anglotex factory, based in Braga, Northern Portugal, specialises in the production of high quality knitted clothing and has been the main producer of the Beaumont Organic range for over a decade.

Started in 1991 by Antonio and Gloria, a husband and wife team, the company has grown over the past 30 years but continues as a family run business. Antonio is still at the helm, and with his son Joao by his side, the factory employs a team of 60 local people.

Anglotex have always strived to work in a way that is conscious, clean and sustainable, and in 2019 they demonstrated their commitment to this ethos by achieving GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) certification. In addition the company has made investments to ensure 100% of its energy comes from solar power, and around 15% of the companies total turnover was generate from recycled materials.

We see the team at Anglotex as an extension of the Beaumont Organic team, working hand in hand to achieve each seasons' collection. We communicate with them regularly, often on a daily basis, allowing long lead times so they are not required to work unreasonable hours, and ensure their workers are paid fairly for their craftsmanship. We think the proof of this can be seen in the beautiful clothes they produce for us year after year.

TAILERTEX:

Located in Trofa, Northern Portugal, the Tailertex factory is a family run business, founded in 2006 and run by father and daughter team Carlos and Patricia Dias.

As with all our suppliers, we see the team at Tailertex as an extension of the Beaumont Organic team, communicating with them regularly, often on a daily basis, and working hand in hand to achieve the best possible results.

We also work together to negotiate fair pricing and long lead times so their team are not required to work unreasonable hours and receive appropriate wages for their skill and craftsmanship.

With a small team of 31 employees, operating out of a light and spacious 4 story building, the company have become notorious for the quality of their fabrics, achieving both GOTS and Oeko-Tex certification, aligning perfectly with the sustainable and ethical values of the Beaumont Organic brand.

J RODRIGUES: 

Our Portuguese knitwear specialist, we have been working with J Rodrigues to introduce our first recycled materials into our main range. The recycled denim cotton yarn is produced in Italy using old jeans which are carefully deconstructed and reprocessed. This yarn is then knitted in J Rodrigues factory to product our bestselling Alessandra jumper and new favourite, the Charis cardigan.

Based in Braga, Portugal, the factory is another small family run affair, employing a high trained team of 16.

JWAY LTD: 

Established in 2014, Jway are pioneers in the use of seamless looms meaning they have quickly established themselves in the area of seamless underwear and sportswear.

We work with them on our underwear range as well as our bestselling yoga leggings and bra. 

EYA: 

Our British knitwear supplier, Eya Designs are one of the newer additions to the Beaumont Organic supply base. We have been working with them for the past 3 years on heavy weight knits for our Winter collections.

This Oxford based company is a specialist in the production of seamless knitwear using British wool.
